Sometimes referred to as jogger’s heel, plantar fasciitis is heel pain and pain in the arch of the foot that is typically at its worst when you first wake up in the morning. While an orthopedic doctor or podiatrist is likely to prescribe anti-inflammatory drugs then steroid injections if the medications don’t work, our approach is different. We not only will provide you with prompt pain relief but we will address the cause of the problem.

Heel Pain Treatment Plan

Here are the types of treatment you can expect:

  • A specially trained massage therapist will perform soft tissue work on the plantar fascia, which is the connective tissue or tendon sheath on the bottom of the foot, and the calf.
  • We will teach you proper stretching exercises and home care procedures, such as self-massage, to help you recover.
  • In severe cases, we may also have patients wear a special splint while they’re sleeping.
  • Orthotics – either custom or over-the-counter ones -may be recommended as well.

We have had great results treating patients with plantar fasciitis. Patients like you have seen improvement in a few short weeks. Are you seeking relief from painful plantar fasciitis? Contact us today to discover how we can help!
